IRAN

We predicted Jan/23 that Israel would strike Iranian nuclear facilities, and by the end of Q1.
Apparently the IDF are no longer reading this blog.

Back to the best solution to this problem - a gasoline blockade. For two years now we have advocated this tactic, explaining in detail just how and why it would be effective; a growing host of others, including many in Congress, and, some of the media have joined us. Today’s WSJ editorialized in Pain Iran Can Believe In for just such a solution, explaining that Iran refines only 60% (we think 50%) of their gasoline and their suppliers are few and easily isolated - India for example supplying 25%.

Obama has already proven that diplomacy won’t work (and embarrassed his country in the process). He had to bake the cake which has already been baked, before he and his crew learned a darn thing.

A blockade is best. Most though can’t handle the near-term implications of that one. But the WSJ claims that there is a growing consensus in Congress for sanctions. OK. Great. Start there for goodness sake.

There are different amendments, different ideas on just how to structure such a sanction. Either way we have a partner in this venture - the Iranian people. They want to adopt Western ways of dress and entertainment and commerce, all of it, if only given the chance. Judging from their reaction to the last gasoline rationing placed on them by the mullahs - they burned down gas stations - sanctions with teeth and they would eject these Muslim medievalist clowns in a jiffy.

Write to your representatives. Past Israel there is only one viable solution; we all know what that is. Let Washington know it too. Oh, and while you’re at it, tell ‘em to keep the UN - the very definition of impotence - out of it.
